Notifications and alerts

In-app alerts work today. Per-event e-mail does not yet, and the app is honest about that — the e-mail switches are visibly disabled instead of quietly ignored. Here is the full picture.

In-app alerts, working today

Alerts arrive as toasts, driven by the live event feed, and the alerts bell in the topbar keeps the recent ones so a toast you missed is not gone. The switches live in Settings → Notifications:

Alert Default Fires when
Disconnection alert On a broker connection drops or reconnects
Copy execution failed On a mirror order is rejected or errors during execution
Risk limit hit On an account hits its daily loss limit or profit target
Order fills Off any leader or follower fill — noisy while trading

Order fills is off by default on purpose: during an active session it fires on every fill, leader and follower alike. Turn it on when you are validating a new setup, off once you trust it.

These switches are per-browser. If you trade from two machines, set them on each — a change on your desktop does not follow you to your laptop.

E-mail alerts: the honest state

Per-event e-mail delivery — disconnects, copy failures, risk hits — is on the roadmap. The e-mail column in Settings → Notifications shows the switches disabled rather than hiding them, so you can see what is coming without being misled about what works.

The one live e-mail toggle is the Weekly Review: the journal's written weekly summary, delivered when the review is ready. Its switch is in the same table, and it is the only one that saves to your account rather than the browser. See the Weekly Review e-mail.

A couple of additional alert types (max-contracts clamp warnings, economic events) are listed but greyed out — same rule, they ship when they work.

Appearance, while you are in Settings

Theme is under Settings → Account → Appearance: System, Light, or Dark. The sun/moon button in the topbar is a quick light↔dark flip when you just want the other one now.

If an alert matters to your risk process, keep the in-app switch on and keep the app open while copying. Until per-event e-mail ships, the app is where alerts live.

Quick answers

Why did my alert settings not carry over to my other computer?

The in-app switches are stored per browser. Set them on each machine you trade from.

Can I get an e-mail when a copy fails?

Not yet. Per-event e-mail alerts are on the roadmap; their switches are disabled in Settings until they ship. The Weekly Review is the only live e-mail today.

Where do I see alerts I missed?

The alerts bell in the topbar keeps recent alerts.
