Managing multiple connections

A leader on one login and followers on others is a normal setup. The logins can even sit at different brokers, like a Rithmic leader copied to Tradovate followers. The Accounts page is where all of them live. Three things matter once you run several: the Enabled switch, the accounts list, and delete.

The Enabled switch

Enabled picks which logins the copier uses the next time it starts. It never starts or stops anything by itself: switching a connection off mid-session does not drop it from the running copier, and switching one on does not connect it until the next start.

The one immediate effect: enabling a connection looks up its accounts right away (the connection shows "Discovering accounts…" while that runs), so new accounts reach the Copy Rules pickers without a manual Test.

Reading the accounts under a login

In Cards view, the default, each connection lists one tile per discovered account: the account id, its state and its balance. While the copier runs the state is the account's own:

• Live: a leader holding a position.
• Mirrored: a follower matching its leader.
• Catching up: a follower that does not match its leader yet; the copier is working on it.
• Paused: copying is paused after Flatten all or a leader's risk limit, or the account's Follow switch on the Trade Desk is off. Either way it copies nothing new.
• Locked: stopped by a risk limit or a manual lockout.
• Flat: holding nothing.
• Not copied: in no copy group, or in a group that had no leader when copying started.

Point at a state word for a sentence saying which of these it is. While the copier is stopped every tile reads Copier stopped, a login the running copier started without reads Not in session, and a login the running copier lost reads Disconnected on every tile. The balance is live while copying, otherwise the last one MirrorFill saw. Point at an account id to see its display name and whether it leads a copy group. In List view, click the count in a row's Accounts cell to expand it into one line per account, with the same state and balance.

On a phone the page always shows the cards: tap a connection to see its accounts with their display names, and to test, edit or delete it. A phone's Accounts page has no engine strip, so when copying is paused an amber note above the connections says so (naming the paused group when only some are) and points you to Resume copying on the Desk tab.

Deleting a connection

Delete is refused while the copier runs: you get "The copier is running: stop it before deleting a connection." Stop first, then delete.

The confirmation dialog lists exactly what goes with the login:

• its discovered accounts,
• every follower copy rule for those accounts,
• the leadership of any group one of those accounts led (the group itself survives, but copying cannot start again until you pick a new leader),
• the accounts' risk limits.

What never changes: your positions at the broker. Deleting a connection removes MirrorFill's saved login and the configuration built on it. It touches nothing inside your brokerage account.
